Corrective Pads- For a better horse ride
Horses have been domesticated by the mankind since 3500BC and have become reliable partners on the way of joy of life. The reason of placing a pad under a saddle is to cushion the saddle, absorb the sweat, and protect the horseback. Thus, corrective pads are the replacement of saddle blankets for they serve their purpose in a better way. They are used for reducing the pressure on the horse back generated by a rider while riding. They are made of layers of foam and other material stuffed in a cover made soft on the inside edge which comes in contact with the horse and tough on the outside edge which comes in contact with the rider. This way corrective pad keeps the horses away from the chronic backache.
The huge variety of corrective pads gives an opportunity to select the one which the horse rider finds the best in terms of quality, style and price. There are saddle pads with pockets in front and back to insert shimmy pads each side so as to alter or adjust the saddle. There are saddle pads with the option of adding extra shimming pads so as to adjust the fitting of a saddle if the same saddle has to be used on various horses.
